Register for Drive for a Child 2020

In 2016, Trillium joined its sister company Musket Corporation in raising funds for their annual golf charity event Drive for a Child, benefitting a local Children’s Miracle Network Hospital. Since its inception in 2013, DFAC has raised over $1.74 million to benefit sick and injured children at Texas Children’s Hospital. In its seventh annual event, Musket and Trillium raised more than $352,000 for the cause.

“It’s been a challenging year for our city as many people continue to recover from Hurricane Harvey, and we’re touched that our Customers and vendors showed their support for our community in this way,” said JP Fjeld-Hansen, vice president of Musket Corp. “We do business nationwide, but Houston is our home. It’s important to us that we support our city, and we couldn’t do it without the help of our industry partners.”

The money raised from DFAC is all to help kids like Grace, a 10-year-old girl who has frontonasal dysplasia syndrome, which results from abnormal development of the skull before birth. Grace has had, and will continue to have, multiple stays at Texas Children’s for various facial surgeries.

Grace was Musket and Trillium’s “Miracle Child” for 2018 and was invited to attend the event at Topgolf and speak to sponsors along with her mother. Grace was happy to attend and try her hand at golf along with all of the event sponsors.

“I can tell you that you will never look in the eyes of every child that you help or hug the shoulders of every family member, but on behalf of all of them we really appreciate all that you do,” said Grace’s mother, Lynn Anto. “We’re very grateful and we’re glad that you’re taking this journey with us.”

Since 2016 Trillium’s Manager of Marketing and Development, Ashley Duplechien, has served as DFAC event organizer and is aided by a team of selfless volunteers from both Musket Corporation and Trillium. If you are interested in sponsoring Drive for a Child, please reach out to Ashley at
