Love’s Travel Stops Opens in Floyd, Iowa

(OKLAHOMA CITY, December 8, 2016) – Love’s Travel Stops opened its doors for business today in Floyd, Iowa, at U.S. Highway 18/218 and Monroe Street. The new travel stop provides drivers in northern Iowa with a new place to purchase fuel, snacks and more.

“The new travel stop is about 20 miles east of Interstate 35 on the busy U.S. Highway 18,” said Greg Love, co-CEO of Love’s. “Love’s previously had no stores in northern Iowa or on that highway, and we’re excited to provide services to our great Customers in Floyd. We will have our customary services including a Subway restaurant and 80 parking places for professional drivers.”

The 10,000 square-foot facility is open 24/7. In addition to the Subway, it also features a Godfather’s Pizza Express restaurant, gourmet coffee, fresh fruit, gift items and more. The location also has 80 truck-parking spaces, five showers, RFID cardless fueling, CAT scales and other driver services.

The opening of this location marks Love’s sixth travel stop in Iowa.
