“We’re eager to expand our presence and add more jobs to the metro area,” said Tom Love, founder and executive chairman of Love’s Travel Stops. “With its proximity to St. Louis and busy location along State Highway 370, Bridgeton is an ideal spot. Providing the community of Bridgeton with what Love’s is known for, ‘Clean Places, Friendly Faces,’ is our top priority.”

The Wendy’s restaurant inside the new travel stop is the first Wendy’s in the St. Louis area to offer breakfast. Customers can try items like the Mornin® Melt Panini, Honey Butter Chicken Biscuit, Artisan Egg Sandwich and Fresh-Baked Oatmeal Bar.

“We are excited to open a new location in the St. Louis area,” said Royce Simpson, Director of Area Operation for B.B. St. Louis and Pattman, LLC, “especially one that offers a new element of service through our breakfast option.”

Customers can also indulge in all Love’s has to offer from gourmet coffee to name-brand electronics. Professional drivers can take advantage of the seven showers, 94 truck-parking spaces and a Love’s Truck Tire Care center. In addition to Wendy’s, the travel stop also features a Subway restaurant. A 411-unit Love’s Self Storage facility will open adjacent to the travel stop this fall.

Love’s will donate $2,000 to the Boys & Girls Club of St. Charles County as a part of a ribbon cutting at the new Love’s at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 16. Love’s welcomes members of the community to join in the celebration of the opening.
