Love's Opens in Meade, Kansas

(OKLAHOMA CITY, September 15, 2016) – Customers in southwest Kansas have a new place to purchase fuel, snacks and more, as Love’s opened in Meade, Kansas, at East Carthage Street and North Fowler Street.

The 24-hour, 4,000-square-foot facility adds approximately 15 jobs to Meade County. Customers can enjoy a Subway restaurant, gourmet coffee, fresh fruit, gift merchandise and two roller grills that offer hot dogs, tamales and more.

The new store is opening during Love’s annual companywide campaign to raise money for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. Meade residents can get involved by purchasing a paper balloon for $1, $5 or $20 through Sept. 30. All the money raised locally goes to Via Christi Hospitals in Wichita, the local CMN Hospital. For 18 years, Love’s and its Customers have raised more than $15 million to help sick and injured children. Love’s will celebrate the opening of the new location with a ribbon cutting at 10 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 16. Love’s will donate $2,000 to Meade Library Foundation as a part of the grand opening festivities.
