Love’s Travel Stops Opens in Hereford, Texas
(OKLAHOMA CITY, January 26, 2017) – Residents and professional drivers in Hereford, Texas, have a new place to purchase fuel, meals, snacks and more. The new Love’s Travel Stop, located at 901 W. First St. (U.S. Highway 60 and U.S. Highway 385), adds approximately 40 jobs to Deaf Smith County.
“We always look forward to opening new locations in Texas as we have been providing ‘Clean Places, Friendly Faces’ there for decades,” said Tom Love, founder and executive chairman of Love’s. “Hereford is a great community that will provide us with an excellent base of employees. With its location along two U.S. highways, we’re in a good position to serve the community, as well as professional drivers traveling through Texas and New Mexico.”
The new store is open 24/7 and offers gourmet coffee, fresh fruit, gift items, a Carl’s Jr. restaurant, eight fuel pumps and more. The 6,000-square-foot travel stop also provides services for professional truck drivers such as truck-parking spaces, showers, diesel fuel pumps and other driver services. The Hereford Love’s is the company’s 60th location in the Lone Star State.
Love’s will celebrate the opening by donating $1,000 to Hereford High School and $1,000 to Hereford Snack Pak 4 Kids, a nonprofit that provides food for area students on weekends.
