The lights inside Hamilton Field House dimmed. Hundreds of students in their neon attire gathered around the stage for the BronchoThon final reveal. The incredible moment where students would learn how much they raised for Children's Hospital Foundation in Oklahoma City. One by one the numbers flashed across the stage. The University of Central Oklahoma in Edmond, Oklahoma, raised $68,405.37.

"BronchoThon is the fastest growing first-year Dance Marathon program in the nation for the 2016-2017 school year. We are overjoyed with our success," said a BronchoThon representative. "Thank you, Love's, for your support! We are thankful for your kind donation and look forward to working with you in the future!"

UCO was one of 17 Dance Marathon partner schools for Love's this spring. Schools from across the country including Gonzaga University, Texas Christian UniversityAuburn University and Ball State University raised more than $5 million for the kids at their local children's hospital.

Love's seed money helps new and established programs focus less on costs and more on fundraising. The Love's impact was visible as many of the 17 school surpassed attendance and fundraising records.

"Schools in the spring increased their fundraising by 39 percent," said LaDonna Horton, Community Relations Manager. "I'm always amazed by their amazing commitment to the cause and their overwhelming appreciation to Love's for supporting them."
